In 2011, Darrion Weems was certainly one of the most highly regarded staples of Oregon’s offensive line.

Now, nearly a year removed from the Ducks Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin, Weem’s is a rookie with the Dallas Cowboys and finds himself fighting for an NFC playoff bid and possible visit to the Super Bowl.

Time certainly flies when you’re having fun in the NFL.

But, it hasn’t been all fun for Weems, who in the last seven months has bounced between the Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Bronco’s and now the Cowboys.

Oregon Duck Football News recently traveled to Irving, Texas to the Dallas Cowboys Valley Ranch facility to pay an exclusive visit to Weems who was recently signed by the Cowboys as a talented prospect for Bill Callahans offensive line.

In our two part feature with the 24 year old former Duck and NFL rookie, we sat down to discuss Weems’ new life in the NFL, his most memorable days at Oregon, his thoughts on Chip Kelly’s possible departure to the NFL and if he expects to find a permanent home with the Cowboys in Dallas.

ODFN caught up with Weems Wednesday afternoon inside the Dallas Cowboys locker room immediately following practice.

Above is a short preview of ODFN’s exclusive two part feature.
