Finally released from the fashion runways of New York City, fans of the Oregon Ducks get a pre-game glimpse of the uniforms slated for the 2013 Fiesta Bowl.
Ok, kidding about the New York City fashion runways, but the Duck uniform is out and as expected they’re state of the art,…or fashion.
The Ducks will be wearing white jerseys for this years 42nd Annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on January 3rd when they face off against Kansas State.
However this years BCS uniforms aren’t just normal white for the Ducks, the players numbers and feathers on the shoulders will change colors based on lighting and angle.
Once again, this years multi-colored uniforms are a game first for the Ducks and continue the trend of Oregon staying on the cutting edge of uniform fashion.
As for the Wildcats, they’ll play in their typical Kansas State purple. Yes, Bill Snyder doesn’t change much and either does his choice of uniforms.
While some college football coaches, experts and fans around the country continue to scoff at Oregon’s fashion sense, there’s no question recruits continue to be attracted to the Ducks and their fashion partner, NIKE!
No word on the Ducks helmet for the Fiesta Bowl – No doubt, it to will be something out of this world!

I loved the Duck uniforms for the Fiesta bowl. (High praise coming from a Beaver alum.) I am just wondering about why the players cut their uniform pants to be bermudas and jerseys to be crop tops? I don’t have a problem with it just wondering what was the message? I’ll appreciate any comments that can solve this curious fashion statement from the Ducks. Great game by the way.
We noticed that as well. We didn’t ask that specific question in the post game. My only guess is they did it for additional comfort.
