Don Essig’s mantra of “it never rains in Autzen Stadium” will once again be heard in this evenings pre-game warm-ups for No. 2 Oregon and No. 13 Stanford, however the weather gods won’t be listening to Essig’s booming voice.
The national weather service is predicting cloudy skies, light showers and a temperature of 47 degrees at kick-off for Saturday’s Pac-12 showdown between the Ducks and Cardinal.
Rain is expected to increase as the evening progresses with a low of 43 degrees. Wind is also expected to be out of the south at 10 to 15 mph.
Gear up Duck fans – The atmosphere will be loud, but the stadium will be chilly and wet!
