Oregon linebacker Michael Clay met with reporters this week to discuss the Ducks upcoming road contest with Cal.
Clay discussed the disappointing effort of the defense against USC last week in Los Angeles including missed assignments and sloppy tackling.
In his post practice press briefing, Clay admitted he didn’t tackle well in that game which was something he and the defense needed to clean up this week before the team departs for Berkeley to play the Bears ( 3-7 / 2-5 Pac-12 ).
In his conversation with reporters, Clay discussed his personal relationship with fellow linebacker Kiko Alonso, the teams fatigue factor late in the season and cleaning up some of the mistakes the defense made last week against USC.
