The No. 4 Oregon Ducks are headed to Phoenix Arizona Wednesday to continue their final preparations for the 42nd Annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and a matchup with the No. 5 Kansas State Wildcats.

Duck players and coaches boarded the team charter Wednesday morning for their two hour flight to Phoenix where they’ll be met by an official welcome ceremony from the Fiesta Bowl executives, staff and media.

The team charter is scheduled for touch down at Sky Harbor International Airport at approximately 2:00 pm local time.

For those players who traveled out of state to spend Christmas with their families, they’re also scheduled to fly or travel to Phoenix today to meet their teammates and coaches at the team hotel in Scottsdale.

Once the Oregon team charter lands in Phoenix, Duck athletic director Rob Mullens is scheduled to greet the media and Fiesta Bowl staff at 2:15 pm local time in the executive terminal prior to departing for the team hotel.

Oregon head coach Chip Kelly is then scheduled to meet the media for the first time at 5:00 pm at the team headquarters ( Fairmont Scottsdale Princess ) where they’ll be based for the entirety of their stay.

On Thursday morning, Oregon will begin their Arizona practice sessions at approximately 10:30 am local time at Pinnacle High School – the same practice location the Ducks used when they played Auburn for the BCS national championship in 2010.

We’ll have more news, updates and videos throughout the day once the team arrives into Phoenix.
