In the final game of the season, No. 15 Oregon (9-3) and unranked North Carolina (9-3) meet for the very first time in school history in the SDCCU Holiday Bowl.

1ST QUARTER

13:30 – Oregon defense ( Mase Funa ) picks up the sack on Drake Maye and forces a Tarheel punt on their first possession.

Ducks begin on their own 45 yard line

11:05 – DUCKS SCORE FIRST – Oregon RB Bucky Irving takes the ball on a two-yard score up the middle to give the Ducks an early 7-0 lead. Irving’s 4th rushing TD of the season.

10:49 – TARHEELS MISS – After an extended drive and successful 4th down attempts the Tarheel offense stalled and was forced to attempt a 36 yard FG which they missed giving the Ducks the ball at their own 20.

9:13 – IRVING RAMBLES 66 YARDS – Oregon RB Bucky Irving found open space in the middle of the field and raced 66 yards for the Oregon score. Irving’s second rushing score of the game to give the Ducks a 14-7 lead. With that run Irving also surpassed the 1,000 rushing yard mark for a single season which is his first in his career.

:29 – MAYE THROWS HIS THIRD – Drake Maye found WR Kobe Paysour across the middle in single coverage in full stride for the 51 yard score. The TD pass is Maye’s third of the game.

5:36 – DUCKS TURN IT OVER ON DOWNS – After going three and out on their first possession of the second half, the Ducks offense got the ball back for their second possession of the second half but failed to convert on a 4th and 7 at the North Carolina 28-yard line.

2:45 – DORLUS AND FUNA SACK – Brandon Dorlus and Mase Funa sacked Drake Maye on a 3rd and 5 for a loss of two yards forcing the Tarheels to punt. NC punted the ball to the Oregon 1-yard line.

9:31 – TARHEELS ADD THREE – On a 4th and goal from the Oregon 2- yard line, North Carolina decided to kick the 21 yard field goal extending their lead over the Ducks to 24-14.

Franklin grabs his 9th TD catch of the season. Bo Nix throws his 28th TD pass of the season.

Nix throws his second TD of the game and Cota notched his 3rd touchdown reception of the season.
