It’s been a long summer.
And it’s certainly been a long fall camp.
And with all of the prep work, film study, new offensive system install, new players on the roster, and more, it appears the Ducks are ready to take the field against Portland State on Saturday.
“Yeah, I think our guys have had great effort and great energy,” said Oregon head coach Dan Lanning on Monday evening from the Hatfield Dowlin Complex.
“They know it’s game week. There’s been a buzz around the building that we finally get to go play somebody else. They’ve had good juice and energy this entire week.”
In his very first press briefing of the 2023 season, Lanning stepped in front of the media to answer questions about Portland State, his teams health and overall readiness to finally play a real game.
