You really can’t measure just how good this Oregon team is based on Saturday’s 81-7 shellacking of Portland State.
That yardstick is difficult to measure simply because the Vikings didn’t have the size, speed and talent that the Ducks have.
That changes this next Saturday when Oregon travels to Lubbock to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. ( 4:00 pm – Fox TV )
On Monday evening Oregon head coach Dan Lanning spoke about Saturday’s lopsided win and how that will change with the Ducks first road game of the season.
“Really talented on offense,…really on both sides of the ball,” explained Lanning during his opening remarks Monday evening at the Hatfield Dowlin Complex.
“Got a really good front. On the interior they can create some issues. Wide receivers,…on the edge they can create some issues. A quarterback that operates really well in their system.
And they play well at home so it’s going to be a fun environment for our guys. They’re amped up to travel and go play a good team.”
