DAN LANNING BREAKDOWN OF PRACTICE NO. 11 – “We’ve gotta get better at our operation, we’ve really attacked that the last couple of days”

On Tuesday afternoon the Ducks and Dan Lanning finished their 11th practice of fall camp.

While reporters were there to greet Lanning and attempt to induce any morsel of new information out of the 3rd year head coach, Lanning remains fairly tight-lipped about the true state of his team.

“Really good competitive practice from the guys today” said Lanning as he walked in front of the cameras right out of practice.

“Finished it off with a really competitive red zone period,…really solid.”

That was the totality of Lanning’s opening statement.

From there the questions and answers were both rapid-fire and if you listened closely there were morsels to be gleaned from the roughly five-minute post-practice briefing.

Lanning did share a few thoughts about the Duck’s first full scrimmage which took place Saturday inside of Autzen Stadium.

“We’ve got to get better at our operation” said Lanning.

“We really attacked that the last couple of days. I think that’s really good. I think we have to keep incorporating more crowd noise for our guys so they can get used to that,…so we had some of that today which is a positive.”
