OREGON CURRENTLY SITS WITHIN AN EYELASH OF THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS – Ducks Move Up to No. 6 And Control Their Own Destiny

The Oregon football team moved up two spots to No. 6 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings revealed Tuesday evening on ESPN.

The Ducks (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12) are the lone remaining unbeaten team in Pac-12 play with three regular-season games remaining.

Oregon remains the highest-ranked Pac-12 team and is one of five teams from the conference in this week’s CFP rankings, along with No. 8 USC, No. 12 UCLA, No. 13 Utah and No. 25 Washington.

Oregon is the second-highest ranked one-loss team, behind only No. 5 Tennessee.

The Ducks return home to Autzen Stadium this week to host No. 25 Washington on Saturday (4 p.m. PT, FOX), with a showdown against No. 13 Utah set for Nov. 19 in Eugene.
