Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel led the No. 1 Ducks to a resounding 38-9 win over No. 20 Illinois on Saturday afternoon and in doing so, surpassed 17,000 total yards in his career moving him into the No. 2 position ( all-time passing ) behind Case Keenum.
In the win over the Ilini, Gabriel completed 18 of 26 passes for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Gabriel also ran for a single score.
In his postgame comments, Gabriel addressed his accomplishment by simply saying “I’m chasing wins, that’s where I’m at.”
