OREGON PICKED TO FINISH SECOND IN THE PAC-12 – The media predicts Utah to win its second straight conference title

Oregon and Utah would face each other in Las Vegas for the conference title again. The Ducks edged USC out in total votes (345-341) even though the Trojans received five first-place votes to Oregon’s two.

USC and Oregon were voted to face each other in 2021 with the Ducks coming out on top, but Utah shook up the applecart by winning the South division and defeating the Ducks in December. But the Utes won’t be sneaking up on anyone this season.

If the media is correct, it would be a disappointing outcome for the Trojans after hiring Lincoln Riley away from Oklahoma and then convincing their quarterback, Caleb Williams, to transfer.

There will be no divisions in the Pac-12 in 2022 and beyond as the best two teams in the conference will meet in Sin City for the title game.

UCLA was selected to finish fourth with the Beavers finishing a surprising fifth.
