OREGON HOLDS STEADY AT NO. 6 IN NEW CFP POLL – Washington Moves Up to No. 4 While Florida State Moves Down to No. 5

The Oregon football team held at No. 6 in the College Football Playoff rankings for the fourth consecutive week on Tuesday night, remaining the nation’s highest-ranked one-loss team.

The Ducks (10-1, 7-1 Pac-12) are one of four Pac-12 teams still in the top 25, along with No. 4 Washington, No. 15 Arizona and No. 16 Oregon State.

Oregon will host Oregon State in a top-20 matchup on Friday night in Autzen Stadium (5:40 p.m., FOX) to close out the regular season, needing a win to reach the Pac-12 Championship Game and set up a rematch with Washington.

Oregon has now appeared in the CFP rankings 38 times since it began in 2014, when the Ducks went on to play in the inaugural CFP national championship game.

This is the Ducks’ 23rd top-10 CFP ranking.

The Ducks won their fifth straight game and reached 10 victories for the second time under head coach Dan Lanning last week with a 49-13 win at Arizona State.
